The Spokewise website has been designed to make the information accessible to all users, including persons with disabilities who use adaptive technologies to receive and disseminate information. We encourage accessible Website development and maintenance and invite your comments and suggestions for theimprovement of the accessibility of this site.
Most browsers support jumping to specific links by typing keys defined on the website. On Windows, you can press ALT+ and access key; on Macintosh, you can press Control+ an access key.
The webpages define the following access keys:
1 Top of page (home)
2 Skip to main content
4 Main Nav
6 Our Accessibility Statement
Because there might be some conflict with Accesskeys already designated by some software, Skip Navigation links are also included.
Skip Navigation links are used mainly for use with assistive technologies such as screen readers, and PDA's (Personal Digital Assistants). They allow readers to skip directly to the content or to a local sub menu. The Skip Navigation links are placed at the top of the webpage. Although the links are invisible to a regular browser, assistive technologies will be able to detect them. An alt tag on the link gives a description of the links. Each link includes an Accesskey attribute (see above).
All content images used on this website include descriptive ALT attributes. Purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes. Complex images include LONGDESC attributes and links to text-only descriptions to explain each imag to non-visual readers.
This website uses cascading style sheets (CSS) for visual layout. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable.
